Growing up, I always wondered—
How are these big tech companies built?
What does it look like behind the scenes?
Who are the people creating the tools we use every day?

Back then, it felt distant. Almost unreal.

Fast forward to today… and I found myself walking into Microsoft Headquarters in Redmond for my first MVP Summit (March 23–25, 2026).

And that childhood curiosity? It all came rushing back—this time, with answers.

Walking into Microsoft HQ

There’s something different about stepping into the Microsoft campus.

It’s not just buildings or offices—it’s the energy.
You feel innovation happening around you.

For me, it wasn’t just a visit.
It was a moment of reflection.

From learning Microsoft technologies, exploring Business Central, Power Platform, Fabric, Azure… to now being physically present where these products are built—it felt like a full-circle moment.

Meeting the people behind the products

One of the most meaningful parts of the summit was getting the chance to meet Microsoft product teams in person.

Not just presentations—but real conversations.

We discussed:

  • Business Central
  • Copilot and IQ (Work, Fabric and Foundry)
  • Power Platform
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure

And what stood out most was how open everything was.
You could ask questions, share feedback, and actually have a dialogue.

It reminded me—these products aren’t just systems.
They’re built by people who genuinely care about improving how we work.

500+ sessions… but more than just learning

Over 500+ sessions, each one brought something new.

But what made it special wasn’t just the volume—it was the perspective:

  • what’s coming next
  • why certain decisions are made
  • how the ecosystem is evolving

It felt less like attending sessions and more like being part of the journey.

Exploring Microsoft – where ideas come to life

One of the highlights was getting to explore different parts of Microsoft:

  • The Garage – where raw ideas turn into real solutions
  • Xbox spaces – where innovation meets creativity
  • Azure environments – showing the scale behind everything we rely on

These experiences answered a question I had as a kid—
“How do big tech companies actually build things?”

Now I’ve seen it.
It’s not just technology—it’s people, culture, and constant experimentation.

A personal moment I won’t forget

At one point during the summit, I paused.

And I thought—

From being curious about how all of this works…
to now sitting inside Microsoft, talking to the teams who build it.

That shift meant everything.

Final thoughts

The MVP Summit isn’t just about technology.

It’s about:

  • community
  • learning
  • contributing back

It reminds you that you’re not just a user of these tools—you’re part of the larger ecosystem.

For me, this experience answered a question I’ve had for years.
And at the same time, it opened the door to many more.

Grateful for the journey so far… and excited for what’s ahead.
